Hearing from Jeremy how my brother and best friend, Archer, was possibly seconds or minutes away from becoming a father, had somehow made me feel nervous. Not because I doubted Archer’s abilities as a father, hell no. Everybody knew what a great father Archer would be, because in a way, he already was. He had opened his arms, his heart and his home to baby Nikki once had found Bec as his mate, and even though that sweet little girl did not share Archer’s blood or DNA, he did treat her like his own flesh and blood.
