I can’t believe it. On one hand there’s declining the invitation but for what cause. What can I possibly tell Kelly, for her not to think I was being unsupportive as a friend. She’s my first friend and so far we share similar interests. I really don’t want to lose her. Losing her would be like losing Sabrina all over again.
I didn’t even have to mention option two to know that it was going to be the only choice I had now. I guess I’ll just have to suck it up. Do it for friendship’s sake.
“Sure, I’ll be happy to” I smile, just to conceal my true emotions.
She was just so elated to hear me willing to go that I believe even if my facial expressions protested, she won’t have noticed.
