I woke up to the feeling of Derek’s lips against my bareback. I smiled, as reality sunk into me. I had said yes to him. For once in my life, I had taken a leap of faith, I had trusted in another human being, And I had made the jump into the unknown. I had said yes. Ever since my answer, we had been locked up in this small hotel bedroom. It wasn’t much, but it was enough. Even though we would probably never come back here another day in our lives, I would cherish this place forever.
