I sighed in relief, as I was finally able to pull up in front of my cabin, of our home. I looked next to me in the passenger’s seat at my girl who was soundly asleep next to me. Today had been nothing short of crazy, mind-blowing even. Jessica had fallen asleep during our drive home, when we had finally gotten the green light from Doctor Ross, the pack doctor, to take my girl home. We hadn’t spoken much since, just holding hands as we drove home in the dark.
