I was still living in some sort of haze, as I was sitting on a hospital bed, my legs dangling from the side and Derek’s arms still wrapped firmly around me. I kept silent, mostly hidden in my own thoughts, stuck in my own mind. Well, not completely my own… Now I knew that I wasn’t just sharing it with my conscience but with my own wolf.
