Dawn had been scared before. She had been scared when her parents had fought and screamed at home, forcing her to hide under her bed until it stopped. She had been scared when her parents yelled and screamed at her. She had been scared when she left to go to the Masquerade ball, scared that her family would be right and she would be rejected. She had been scared when she had discovered she was pregnant.
