CHAPTER 7. Sister's Favor

1284 Words
SARAH'S POV I woke up early the next morning to bid my parents goodbye, they're going to Singapore to take a vacation as a dad's gift to mom for their anniversary. After dinner last night, Pauline called me asking me if I did change my mind and decided to go to the party, but I told her that I'm still not coming and also told her to just enjoy the night. I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom, I take a quick shower before putting on my yellow sundress and dry my hair. Then I came out of the room and went downstairs, I saw mom sitting on the couch in the living room while dad and Richard were putting the baggage inside the car compartment one by one. I am stepping down the stairs and walking towards mom. "Please take care and enjoy it," I told her while hugging her tightly. "I will sweetie, you too, okay? Also, never forget your vitamins, you know that's very important for you." She reminded me. "Yes, mom. I really wonder why I still need to take these vitamins, they're all been in my system ever since." I commented unbelievably. "Just do it, okay? No more questions." Mom said while she pinches my chin. "Fine, but I'm gonna miss you so bad," I told her as I broke the hug and smiled at her. "Me too sweetie," "Dad," I called out when I saw him getting inside the house, he stretched his arms wide for a hug. "Take care mom, yourself, and enjoy. Okay?" I also reminded him as I accepted his embrace. "Of course, sweetheart, thank you." He said and kissed my forehead. "Good morning Ms. Miller." I heard someone called me and saw a standing man at the front door, grinning from ear to ear. It was Miguel, my father's assistant and he's the one who is going to accompany mom and dad to the airport. "Good Morning Mr. Garcia." I greeted back and smiled, he came closer to hold up my hand and kissed my knuckles. "You always look more beautiful every time I see you." He warmly told me, looking straight into my eyes. "Thank you," I said as I felt my cheeks heating up. He's always like this every time we see each other. I don't know, but I find it cute and sweet as well. Besides he's right about being beautiful, I just can't help myself from blushing. "Miguel, that's enough, you're making my daughter's face red as tomatoes. If you want, you have my blessing to ask her out for a date." Mom said, chuckling. "Thank you, Mrs. William," Miguel said, smiling. "Mom!" "What? Look at yourself!" She said, laughing out loud. This is so embarrassing, I also heard Miguel chuckled and so I just covered my face with my palms to hide my embarrassment. "Honey. That's enough, we need to go already." Dad cut the shameful scene and with that Dad pulled Mom towards the car and we followed. I saw Michelle and Richard waiting outside, but I also noticed that Andrew and Therese weren't around. "Where's Andrew?" I asked. "They have gone early sweetie, they just don't want to wake you up to say goodbye." Mom answered. "It's okay, I will just call Therese later," I said. I wonder if Therese already told him about what she told me last night. Everyone waved goodbye and once the car was out of our sight, we decided to go back inside. "Michelle, can I ask you a favor?" I suddenly raised a question. "Sure! What is it?" "After your marriage, can you get pregnant as soon as possible? And make as many babies as you can?" I asked out of nowhere with a serious expression, Richard left dumbfounded by the sudden question I inquired. "What!?" She cried, laughing out loud at me. "I'm serious! Why are you laughing! I just want this house to be hilarious with lots of kids around playing and running just like before how we used to." I explained and started to feel a bit shy. William's mansion is wide and wondrous, we used to play in the garden almost every day, running, hiding, and everything, but when we grew up and already have each other chores of our lives, it just became quiet and kinda lonely, especially when someone is leaving even just for a while, just like our parents did now. I just hate being alone, it made me sad. "Because it felt lonely, you know," I uttered sadly, but she is still laughing, holding her tummy, Richard also joined her madness. 'What a couple!' I annoyingly thought. "I'm sorry Sarah but I just can't help myself looking at your sister's reaction, but don't worry, we'll do everything we can to grant that. I promise." He said, chuckling while tapping my shoulder. "Of course! Sure! But you also have to help me to put up children in this house to make it merrier!" She said loudly while wrapping her arms around mine while pulling me. "I can't do it alone baby girl." I was left shocked by her statement, she's the one that's getting married, how could she say that! "Oh my God, how could you say that, you're the one who's getting married here." "That's why get yourself a boyfriend already so that someone can deflower you and that way, you can help me. What do you say?" She said casually, I felt so embarrassed really, then I glared in Richard's direction. "I didn't hear anything." He defensively said, pretending that he covered his ears and rushed inside the house. "Oh my God, you're so disgusting! How can you just say that?" I hysterically asked. "You started it baby girl and never say that it is disgusting because once you have experienced the desired feeling of it, I'm sure you'll never get enough of it!" She said while teasingly tracing my lips with her fingers and rushed inside the house chuckling, leaving me with widened eyes and heated cheeks. So I guess I just regret asking her that, but one thing is bothering me if it's true that I will never get enough of it, but however it is, I promise that I will only surrender myself to the one I truly love. Would it be awkward if I thought of Andrew as the one that I would love to love and make love? 'Yeah, it is super awkward!' I scolded myself and blew heavy air. Instead of getting inside the house I went to the garden and dial Pauline's number. "Oh, come on! Why are you calling so early?" She asked after my third time dialing her number, she still sounds groggy. "Don't tell me you drank too much last night," I asked, chuckling. "No, what's with the early call girl?" She asked, sounding pissed because of my early call, but I know she'll listen. "Therese told me that she is breaking up with Andrew," I told her. "And so? You think you'll get a chance when they break up?" She honestly remarks, "Why are you so mean to me?" I asked as I felt my eyes welling up. "I'm not, I'm just telling you the truth and waking you up from your fantasies." I sighed. "Yeah, you're right, thank you for your honesty, I badly need it." I sadly mumbled. "Sarah, stop it already, you'll just get yourself hurt and the more you keep that feeling, the more pain you are going to experience, and worse, you might get stuck with fantasizing about him. So, stop it." "Thank you, Pauline," "I love you, Sarah." "I love you too."
