Leighton gripped the phone tighter, unsure of how he was able to make sense of all of this. Sharing the news with Edward was making him more worried than normal. He knew that the five were not doing well with the weekly evaluation coming from the archmage. Sending them more worries would probably make things harder to deal with, but this is something he can’t wait for time to settle before doing anything hasty.
