Reed had called for Leighton.
He knew his sister well enough to know that she would never let that issue slip. From the second that she had been awake, it was him that she needed to see. Never had she spoken to another; it was only when she wanted to tell them that she needed to talk to him. When Mint was panicking through everything, Leighton was getting a detailed explanation from the beta. To be able to see that and not able to hear any reasons must have haunted his sister.
He did not want to relive some past memories that she was running away from, but it was needed.
