Tonight would be a full moon.
It was the first time after I had given birth to my son. As my eyes scanned myself in the mirror, I didn’t know the emotion that I should show. There were a lot of things that were going inside my mind. Glancing to where my child is, I only offered a small smile. Seeing how big he had gotten in six months was enough to let me know how the time had passed, yet I felt like I did not even feel the time grew.
“Seems like we’re ruining your sleeping pattern tonight,” I whispered, my finger delicately touching his sides as he chuckled. Kaiden mumbled words that were hindered by his inability to form words. “Mommy’s sorry. I will do my best to look after you after.”
