I briefly close my eyes. Am I dreaming?
"No, you're not." Victoria laughs as she hugs me from behind.
I turn to look at her, my mouth slightly agape. I'm not over the initial shock yet.
"I said that out loud?"
"You did. You are not a fan of surprises, are you? You look like you just saw a ghost."
I laugh nervously. Excitement is coursing through me.
"I almost had a heart attack."
"Thank God you didn't. I don't want Max sending me to an early grave for killing his sweet little Cami. This is your party so go talk to everyone. Tonight, all eyes will be on you. Kill it."
