Renee is turning eighteen today.
On top of that, she's going abroad for college, and she leaves in a day. Her classes begin in a few weeks but she wants to be well acquainted with her surroundings before learning begins. She wants to become a civil engineer, and she somehow managed to convince Max that she'll be just fine in a foreign country. Her brother seems to have an immense amount of faith in her so he's letting her go. I'm sure he wouldn't be so easily convinced if that were Krystal.
Anyway, that's why we're here today. Gabriel and I are trying to bake a cake while Max and Brent attend to the barbecue. Renee herself is at home packing, but she promised she'd be here before we're done making food and
