When I got to school the next day Zack and Hazel were pretty quick to find me in the hallway and I knew that they were tasked with taking care of me.
“So Zack, when do you start following the head warrior around?” I asked.
“Next week. As soon as school finishes. I’ll be doing that for a couple of weeks until I have to meet up with Jax at Alpha camp.” Zack said.
“Are you looking forward to it?” I asked.
“No. We f*****g hate it.” Hazel said. And I chuckled at her.
“I’m not going to lie. It sucks.” I said.
“Yeah. We already know that. Do you know why Jax was told to go early? That’s what I don’t understand.” Zack said.
“I don’t know. We were just told by the Alpha and there was no room for argument. He told him to go and he had to go.” I said.
“That had to hurt.” Hazel said.
