Kara's POV:
I continued to look down at the image. I didn't want to revert back to my human eyes or look away, knowing that I would lose the image. I wanted to keep looking at it, memorizing every detail of my father.
Suddenly, the book was taken from my hands and closed. My eyes changed back to human eyes just as I looked up at Azariah, noticing that he was watching me. I was confused and unsure of what he was going to do, especially now that I have said what I had said. Was he now going to use this book and the knowledge of what I am against me? Was all of this an act? Was he tricking me to make me trust him and fall for him just so he could get what he wanted?
"We have to go," He snapped quickly as he grabbed my arm and started to pull me with him.
"Go where?" I asked him in worry
