Kara's POV:
It's been a week since the wolves attacked our estate. Atticus got busy right after, taking out more nests so now they are down to only four more nests before Azariah will be asked to leave. Azariah has told me before that he is going to take me with him but I really don't think that's going to happen. I know for a fact that Atticus will never let me go.
I was standing in one of the front rooms on the second story, peeking out the window...watching. I was watching as Atticus walked away from the house and into the forest. I wasn't sure where he was going or what he was doing but he was heading out by himself. The only thing I can think of is he is still looking for answers for whatever it is he is trying to figure out. I know whatever it is, it involves me.
