Arga hadn’t slept, for in the night they were on the run. During the day, they had been sitting with no purpose. Aurora had been crying nonstop, Arga already knew that she was hungry. She stood up with her agitated little sister, to look around for something she could eat. All she saw was trees, leaves, grass and muddy ground. “ Oh please rora, please I’m looking. Be patient with me, I promise I’ll find something, stop crying.” She said, she wanted to cry too at this point. She walked towards what sounded like a river, she could see it in the distance and she could see a berry bush.  “ There you go look!” She point out to Aurora, “ some berries, you’re going to have some delicious berries now.” Arga said, playing with her little button nose. Aurora smiled, still with the tears on her face. She got to the berries, removing a whole brunch of them and bending into the river to wash them. She took them out, and sat on the side of the river, gently placing Aurora so could sit up right. She removed the blanket off of her, so that her arms could finally get a stretch. She then took the berry, peeling off the skin. Squeezed it with her finger so that it would be soft and soggy enough not to chock her. She put it into Aurora’s mouth. She thought a few berries would be enough, but Aurora kept wanting more and more, till her hands got tired of squeezing and peeling. “ How much more Aurora, you’ve almost finished the whole berry bush.” She was whining now, she was so tired of her sister who ate so much. What Arga didn’t know that she wasn’t just feeding Aurora, Aurora had an animal inside her, which became her. Yes she was a demon, because of what was inside her but Aurora was strong, she controlled her body, that’s why she could still smile and be happy. Finally she burped,  “ Oh heavens, that took forever.” Arga said, smiling down at her little sister who fell asleep instantly. She backed herself up to lean onto a tree, placing her sister comfortably. She remembered how her mother loved to sing to her before placing her on the bed, touching her sisters black hair too, gently playing with her scalp while she smiled, tears forming in her eyes. “ Sleep now my darling, sleep now my dear. Close your little eyes until the morning comes, sleep now my darling, sleep now my dear. Think of all the good, see only good, dream of only good, know that you’re good, precious and kind, know that you’re an angel sent from up above.” She sang to Aurora, her voice was still sweet and innocent. She wanted to sing this song to her sister as often as possible, she wanted her sister to have only good memories, to know that she is good. To grow up knowing that she is an angel, and no matter what people will say, she’ll have an upbringing of thinking she is an angel. Arga also found herself drifting off, falling asleep in the woods. She woke up at night, to a loud uproar, “ Find Arga and we find the demon!” The voice said in the distance, Arga already knew it was her father, she knew that voice. Getting up in a rush, she saw fire lights in the distance. Aurora was still fast asleep. She started running off the opposite direction to where they came from, her heart was hammering in her chest. Selfish man, this curse of a man. It wasn’t enough that he killed her mother, now he wanted to kill her sister too. Running in the dark forest, dodging trees, this was too much for a 13 year old to bare. She went tumbling, holding her sister tight in the process, like a human shield. She got to the ground, and she saw that her sister had woken up, her eyes shimmered in the darkness as the moonlight hit directly on her beautiful face, “ No matter what you do, don’t cry...” Arga whispered to her little sister while she crawled to hide. Just then, she heard something, a tree brunch snapping. It was a little boy, he stood and looked at them. The men shouting in the distance, Arga looked up in fear, he knew that maybe they were running away. “ Come.” He said. Arga looked at him, a boy. At this point she had hatred for boys and men, hatred because of how this land made them seem like they were of higher power.  “ Come!” He said again, as Arga looked up, seeing that the red glow from the fire was getting closer and closer. She stood up and followed him, he heart was pounding. She’d rather trust this Strange looking boy than her father, than that murderer. Running deeper and deeper into the forest, he said nothing but only ran. Finally he stopped, “ Wait.” He said, as he opened up a secret hide out, hidden amongst the leaves. They got inside, closing as they passed through a portal. There was a little shed house, with flickering light inside. “ Come.” He said again, as they made their way to the little shed. Arga noticed a mark on Aurora’s forehead before fading. It looking like the horns of something, but she only looked at her older sister and smiled. She gave her a little smile, she was shocked at what she had seen. She stood outside the house, “ Safe here...” the boy said, opening the door to the little shed. Her heart slowly pacing up, she turned back around and saw that it looked like the portal was gone. “ How do I go back home?” Arga asked the boy. “ You have no home, yes?” The boy replied. “ Oh yeah, you’re right I don’t.” She said, as she made her way inside. “ What is this place?” She said, looking around this little cottage. It was warm inside. “ My home.” The boy replied, “ your home too, home of black blood.” He said, pointing to Aurora. “ Black blood?” Arga asked. “ Yes.” “ What is black blood?” She asked again. “ The baby is black blood, I see it. She is last black blood.” He replied.
