“ My sister is a black blood? Like the legend?” Arga said, looking down at Aurora. “ Yes, she is black blood like legend.” The boy replies. Arga places Aurora on the bed before collapsing to the ground, tears were forming. She looks up at this little boy, a boy who seemed like her age, “ You’re lying!” She shouts out, looking at her precious little sister sleeping. “ No...” the boy said, “ She is fated for death upon arrival of the ghost.” “ Not unless she does nothing about it!” Arga said, raising her voice. Veins on her neck throbbing, “ she owes this world NOTHING!” She continues to say. “ do you know that she didn’t even get to taste the milk of her mother's breast, she doesn’t even get to know her scent, to feel her skin brushing against hers. She doesn’t get to see her mother! She doesn’t get to see our mother! Because of that curse of a man and the belief you low life boys are the gift.” Arga says, she spits on the ground. “ I don’t see a gift in front of me, only a boy.” “ Yes I am no gift, I am but a seer. Your sister is the only one that can save humanity or destruction will fall upon us. She will be kind-hearted, she will be gentle and she will be incredibly strong. She will also remember everything.” He said. “ What do you mean?” Arga said, wiping her tears. “ she will remember the image of her mother's death, she will remember you and her, she will remember everything. It is a gift and I curse yes, her memory never fades, it never forgets.” “ How do you know this?”  “ Because my mother was a black blood. She told me to always look after others that follow after her. See, being a black blood is a curse. It is the egg of the devil itself put inside you. That devil arrives as soon as the baby starts eating you inside, you’re the carrier. That is why I say she is fated to die because she will be weak upon arrival and the only thing that’ll be keeping her alive will be taken out.” The boy, tears forming in his eyes. “ You’ll know the pain of knowing that someday, the person you love will be taken because of a curse they didn’t even ask for.” “ No you’re wrong, my sister is no demon, she has no evil inside her and nothing will take her!” Arga said, running to hold her sister who opened her eyes and smiled. “ I will keep her locked away from people who will harm her, she will be safe with me forever,” Arga said, playing with her little Button nose. “ Do you have anything she can eat please?”  “ Yes.” The boy said, walking over to prepare some pumpkin. “ Do you live alone?” Arga said, “ Yes, I do. You’re welcome to stay with me as long as you desire.” He said. Arga said, she thought she was the only child who was forced to being independent, all alone but she wasn’t. She looked at this strange boy, who supposedly knew the fate of her sister busy preparing a meal for them. She had some sort of hatred but she was grateful for him. It was him being a boy that she hated, that he was considered to be better. When she looked at him, she just saw a human being. What was so special about a boy? She looked down and little Rora, who smiled. “ Hey, angel,” Arga said, smiling down at her. The boy walked over with two bowels with squashed warm pumpkin, “ this should be filling for her before resting, yes?” He said The bowel was full of pumpkin, she looked at him and looked back down. She guessed he did know, she had a huge appetite. Aurora’s food was more than hers. “ May you feed her? I’d like to borrow your knife to go cut my hair.”  Arga said, looking at the boy. “ Of course.” He said, placing his Wooden bowel and taking Aurora. She looked at him, with her orange eyes. Arga stood up and walked over to grab a knife, and went outside. She grabbed her braid, and slit her hair to length shoulder. She held it in her hand, tears forming. Looking at her hair, she remembered when her mother would brush it and braid it for her. She felt heartache, the fact that the only imagine Aurora would have of her mother was her dangling on the bed with eyes open in a pool of blood. If she was to ever see Fluk again, she would be the one to end his ratchet life. He didn’t deserve to live, heartless man. She didn’t understand why all the good people had to suffer, she turned and looked at the little cottage. Walking back inside with her hair in her hand. The boy looked up at her while feeding Aurora, “ You still look beautiful.” He said, smiling at her. She smiled a little too and walked over to sit beside them. “ What’s your name?” Arga asked. “ Hatharga.” He said,  “ What’s it mean?” She asked him while looking at Rora. “ The chosen.” He said. “ What’s yours mean?” “ Protector.” She said, smiling to herself. “ My mother gave me that name, maybe she knew. Deep down, she knew.”
