Chapter 26
I have not left his room for months now. No matter how many people tell me I should go out and get some fresh air, I just can not leave him. I only shower every couple of days so I don’t start to smell, even then I will use the one in his room and only when I know someone is there who I trust and they promise not to leave him.
I wouldn’t even leave the room to get my regular ultrasounds. Julius and my parents had tried to encourage me to do so, but when they realised that they were not getting anywhere they organised for the machine to be brought to me, and they all got to join me and see how their grandchild was developing.
Even if Ty is not conscious, I still needed to have him there with me, hoping that he would hear our sons heartbeat and give him even more to fight for.
