It’s decided that they would order pizza which was fine regardless of how her stomach was still in knots. She didn’t need it right then but it was best for everyone.
While they wait, Roxi and Chyanne loop their arms with Kayla, taking her down to see what was done for Phaux’s in her absence. There were also customers that popped in while she was out and they were able to handle that workload too. Kay took a shuddering breath in and out to try to calm her nerves about what she saw. None of which were bad but all of which was her family chipping in. It was nice, honestly, and she hoped silently for more of this.
