The moment she sees Ben’s huge form creep into the building, she’s sure Kayla made the right choice.
Her gaze turned to her Mate and Frank shrugging at each other.
“Well, he’s dead,” Frank states simply, opening his burrito.
“Pity,” her Mate replies, to which she can only roll her eyes.
“We need to figure out a solution for her,” Roxi prompts her, hellbent on trying to solve Kayla’s problem. “She’s the last person that deserves this and you know it.”
Chyanne does know it, nodding as she put both Kayla and Ben’s food in the grill to keep it warm, before pointing back at her family, “Remind me that’s there.”
