I groaned as a woke up, my head pounding as I turned over on the hard surface I was laying on. I opened my eyes a little, finding that I was shrouded in complete darkness. I pushed up to find myself on the ground, the surface below me hard and slimy, making me not want to know what it was covered it, the air around me cold and filled with damp. I felt a feeling of dread as I remembered being in the cells below the institute, my mind suddenly thinking that the last few months had been a dream and I was still there.  I shook my head slightly, trying to remember how I had gotten here. My hand went to my neck, feeling the light scarring on my neck where Kadzait's mark was. No, it had not been a dream. I sighed with relief as I walked through my actions.
