Chapter 10

"You what?!" A booming voice of Caspian echoed in the entire living room.

"Caspian.." Kira immmediately consoles him. She feels her mate getting riled up after Blake confessed everything.

"Do you know about this too?" Caspian looks at Kira in shock.

"I just recently found out."

Kira sees Caspian's jaw tensed up. "I want to talk with Blake alone."

"Babe-" Kira wants to stay. She fears for Blake's safety especially the emotions she feels from Caspian.

But Caspian seems not to hear her plea.

"You too Cody and Catleya." An intimidating voice comes out from Caspian once again.

Cody hastily leaves the room without a single word, while Catleya just like Kira doesn't want to leave the guys alone.

"Caspian-" Catleya wants to beg but her brother throws a death glare at her. It gets scatier when he exerts a fearful aura.

"I am not done with you yet, Catleya." A glare from Caspian has finally made Catleya to go out of the room, soon Kira follows.

The two women can't hear what's happening inside the room. They could only pace back and forth waiting for them to come out. Whereas, Cody is no longer in sight.

"Luna..."

"Everything will be alright, Cat." Kira tries to lessen her worries but she knows deep in her that Caspian won't let Blake off the hook. After what Blake has told them, Caspian definitely would not take it lightly.

Kira couldn't feel Caspian's emotion anymore, neither his thoughts nor his aura. She sure knows things are pretty complicated at the moment.

"It's my fault. Blake wouldn't be in there if only I stayed strong. I shouldn't let him back in my life again." Catleya can't hold her tears anymore.

"Cat-" Kira can only hug and console her. She has no more say about the situation either.

"Please Luna. We to do something. He's probably needing our help right now. My brother is probably killing him."

"Cat... Caspian would never do such thing. Let's just wait for them to come out. Okay? Let's just think that it's the price Blake must need to pay for dating you."

It's not just Catleya who's worried for Blake, so does she. But Kira knows she shouldn't get in between the two. It's a man to man talk and it's up to Blake how he can win Catleya's heart over his brothers.

"What's going on here?" Margaux comes in together with Leon.

"Mom! Dad!" Catleya quickly runs to her mom's arms.

"Why are you guys here? I thought we'll have a dinner together." Says Leon who's baffled as he looks at Catleya and Kira.

"What is wrong honey?" Margaux asks while caressing Catleya's back.

"Mom- Dad... Please go inside. You need to help Blake."

"Wait, why?"

"Caspian is probably killing him right now. You need to stop Caspian. Please go inside."

"I don't understand. Why is Caspian gonna kill Blake?"

"Blake and Catleya are dating, dad." Cody responds as he walks towards them.

"Wait, what??!" Both Margaux and Leon ask in unison.

"I can explain mom, dad."

"You better explain it Catleya!" Leon's tone becomes serious, not liking what he's heard.

"Is it true Catleya?" Margaux also asks.

"Uhm, why don't we have a seat first so we can talk about it." Kira quickly intervenes. She feels the tension is getting heavier so she must do something.

She leads them towards the other room. But Catleya is hesitant at first. She's worried for Blake and not for herself.

"Cat, let's go. Don't worry about them. Okay?"

Cody also follows them to the other room.

"When did you two start dating?" Margaux asks.

"Years ago."

"Years ago??" Leon is totally surprised. He has no idea that his precious daughter is already doing something behind their back. "You didn't even bother telling us?? You just kept it from us??"

"Dad, it's not like that. I can explain."

Leon's eyebrows crease as he stares at her.

"You were not even old enough to date, Catleya." Margaux is so disappointed.

"I didn't plan it either. It just happened. I fell in love with him. He tried to stay away from me, but I was the one who kept on coming after him. I didn't know I would fall for him. But he's nice to me. He respects me. Please don't get mad at Blake. Don't blame him dad.. mom. I am the one to blame."

"He respects you but he doesn't respect us! Your family, Catleya! He should have told us rather than keeping it a secret from us!"

"Dad he wants to. Believe me... he wanted to tell it to you all. It just that... I stopped him. I'm afraid that you will be against us."

"Blake should know what to do. If he respects our family, he should do what is right!"

"Dad you don't get it."

"What??!" Leon's voice starts to raise.

"What I meant for years ago was when I started having feelings for Blake. The reason I came back here alone was he didn't want to ruin my career and he didn't want you all to get mad at him. He didn't want you to think he's a traitor. He didn't like me, dad. It was difficult for me. I almost died but I had to go back here because I didn't want you to worry. I didn't want to complicate everything either. But every day I had to pretend that I was okay, that I was happy. I had to keep myself busy just to stop myself from thinking about him. The moon goddess knew what I was dealing every night or every time I was alone in my bed. I just kept on thinking about him. It was hard for me to live. Blake was too cruel for doing that to me. Days and months past that he didn't even come back here. Until the other day. I tried to stop loving him. I thoight I already did. I tried to hate him, but my heart only wanted him. What do you want me to do? I love him." Catleya cries as she looks at her mom and dad.

"Tell me... Is he your mate?" Margaux asks carefully. She feels pity for her daughter because she now sees how her daughter suffers. She's not a good mom for not knowing what she's been going through all this time.

"Yes. But I am not his mate, mom."

"What?"

Everyone in the room is surprised about the revelation.

"What do you mean Cat?" Kira confusely asks.

"He said he has no mate. He's cursed by Moon Goddess. He said he would not be having a mate."

"But you felt the bond for Blake.?"

"Yes. It was a long time ago. He didn't know about that. I was sixteen when I felt it. But he'd never felt anything for me back then. I was afraid he would reject me so I kept mum about it. Imagine what I had gone through when he left me. But Blake doesn't know he's my mate. I haven't told him about that until now."

"But you said he rejected you."

"He didn't reject me like what we normally do every time we reject our mate. We didn't go through that process. He just left me after telling he had no feelings for me. I wanted to tell him that day that he's my mate but I felt coward. I couldn't imagine him rejecting me at that age. I didn't want to be mateless."
