Megan feels as if she's been walking forever. She didn't even know where she was going. But she feels the urge to just keep on walking. Everything in her surroundings is dark. It seems that she's on a never-ending road.
After walking for a long time, she finally sees a light shining in front of her. It looks like it's leading her into a highway. She has no idea what this place might be but she keeps on walking.
After some time, she reached the highway. It looks abandoned. Or maybe nobody is using it yet. It looks like the concrete is freshly made. But she saw tall grasses on the other side of the road. There is no vehicle's insight and it's only silence.
Megan decided to cross it so that she can see what's behind those tall grass. The moment she stepped on the road to cross, blinding lights suddenly hit her eyes. Memories came flooding through her and she saw herself getting hit by a car.
She can't help but cry when she realized that it's not her reality. When she looks on both sides of the road, there's nothing to it. Everything is quiet again and she felt the urge to cross that highway again.
She lifted one foot and the moment it stepped on the ground, the blinding lights were present once again. It's very strange but she decided to stop herself from being scared. She closed her eyes instead and started to walk.
It's just a dream after all and the lights can't do anything to her. But still, she kept her eyes closed until she felt that she's near the side with tall grasses. Then she opens her eyes to see what's waiting for her on this site.
"Finally! Does it take too long just to cross the road?" A man's voice asked.
Megan felt relieved to know that she's not alone. She can feel an overwhelming love surrounding her. But all she can see is this tall man wearing an all-white outfit. Even his shoes are white as if he's going to some theme party.
"Where am I?" Megan asked, ignoring the question body of the mysterious man.
He just looked at her and didn't reply. She feels disoriented by what's happening. It's not her nature to talk to strangers. Especially if it's from an abandoned-looking road. But somehow, she feels like she has known him for a long time.
"Aren't you going to ask who I am?" He asked, looking intently at her.
Mehan didn't say a word but met his gaze. Then she saw it in his eyes, the man that's standing in front of her is not human. He's familiar to her but she just can't pinpoint who he was. Maybe he's just one of the ghosts she keeps on seeing since she was still a child.
"No, I'm not a ghost! I'm an angel!" He said as if hearing what she's thinking.
"You're an angel? So it means that I'm already dead?" Megan asked but afraid to get an answer.
"Well, not yet. But you have to come with me to wait for your ascension." He replied.
Megan stepped back a little. If she's not dead, why does he want her to come with him? Then out of nowhere, another man shows up. This time, he's wearing a black outfit. But his charm is different from the man who called himself an angel.
"Are you dragging her to her death too soon, Gabrielle?" He asked.
"She's not your business, Lucifer!" The angel said.
Megan steps back another step. The name Gabrielle and Lucifer are more than familiar to her. They were both taught from the bible and she knows their stories very well. Why are they here in front of her?
"Gabrielle? Lucifer? Why can I see you both?" She asked.
Both of them looked at her and then at each other. Now they look like they don't know how to explain what's happening to her. But she realized now why they all look so perfect. They are not humans.
"You have to go with me. That will guarantee you a ticket to heaven." Gabrielle told her.
"Darn it, Gab! The girl is not dead yet. She should come with me." Lucifer said.
"Why, so that you can tempt her? It's not gonna happen!" Gabrielle responded and took Megan's hand.
She looks very confused now and doesn't know what's going on. Lucifer has the most angelic face she's ever seen. How can he be the prince of darkness? While Gabrielle looks like he's also the most beautiful man she laid her eyes upon. Even at the paranormal level, they both look charming. No words can describe how beautiful these creatures are.
"Megan, who do you want to be with?" Lucifer asked her with his handsome smile.
She looked at him and realized how he is the devil. This man looks very tempting and she can't help herself but imagine how he looks when he's naked. He's putting her on fire and she feels like she's burning inside as he comes closer. But if she's somewhere in between heaven and hell right now, she needs to choose wisely.
Lucifer is now face to face with her and she can feel the warmth of his breath. She can't stop herself from feeling lustful in his presence. He's just standing near her and she can feel as if she is about to explode with a screaming o****m. But she knows that he's playing with her mind. She feels so hot and feels the urge to strip right there and then.
"She's coming with me! Let's go, Megan!" Gabrielle snapped her out of her burning desire.
The touch of Gabrielle's hand to hers suddenly replaced her lust with overwhelming love. It's very confusing but his presence saved her from taking off her clothes in front of them. They walk away from the devil and as if they just teleported to another place.
She's now standing in the living room of a huge house. It's very bright inside maybe because it's all in white. This place looks more like her parents' house. The only difference is that it's not filled with her mom's stuff. More like the house of a bachelor. A very handsome one!
"Stop thinking about it, Luci! He will drag you to hell!" Gabrielle said in a loud tone.
Megan feels intimidated since Gabrielle seems to be very strict. She thought that angels are all gentle and kind. But he's an archangel who is one of heaven's soldiers. How come he's with her now? She decided to ask him instead.
"You're an archangel, right? Why are you with me? She asked.
"Yes, but I also happened to be your guardian. That's why I have to leave the angels to wait until you ascend to heaven." He replied.
"But Lucifer said that I'm not dead yet. Is that true?" She asked again and decided to sit down from the white couch.
"Not yet but your name is already on the list. Your soul is still attached to your mortal body somehow. That's why I need to guard your soul now since Lucifer obviously wants it." He explained.
"Wow, that's just unexpected! I'm supposed to graduate on Monday. Plus, I have a boyfriend who must be crying for me right now!" She responded and tried to remember her memories.
"Technically, it's early graduation for you. Your time is up and you need to get back to heaven before you can do an unforgivable sin." He replied.
"I'm not religious, Gabrielle. But you should know that I will never do bad things." She said.
"I know what you're capable of, Meg. That's why you have me as your guardian. You're getting too involved with your science experiments. Having a very brilliant mind is about to make you commit the unforgivable sin." He explained some more.
"If I was created to have a brilliant mind, shouldn't I be supposed to use it?" She asked.
"You should! But you're about to play God very soon. Raising the dead is not something you should be doing as a human." He responded.
Megan can't believe what she's hearing but wondering how she can even wake up the dead. It's not exactly what she's researching about. But now that she's in this place, she can't even remember what exactly she's doing from her life before this place.
"So, I have to die so I will not accidentally do that unforgivable sin you're saying?" She asked.
Gabrielle nodded and finally sat on one of the couches near her. Sure, he's a very handsome angel but he seems to be as cold as ice. She can't help but think about how warm Lucifer earlier. Now, she feels cold from staying with the angel.
"It's for your own good, Megan. After all, you were an angel before you became human. It's about time that you return to your post." He explained and held her hand.
