The Hybrid Prophecy

Chapter Eighteen

(Henry’s point of view)

I look at everyone smiling and getting excited for the royal wedding, I push past them wanting to get away from all these happy feelings. I could not believe that a couple of weeks ago I was going to be crowned King and have everything I wanted to only have it taken away from me in a matter of seconds. After I was thrown in the dungeons I started to plan how I was going to make them pay, I was planning to kidnap Lisa the day before her wedding and mark her so that I had the crown. I had everything figured out, I even got one of the guard to agree to let me out without everyone knowing but the day before I my plan was going to start I got a visit from the King. He had talked to his daughter and her stupid mate and they came to an agreement to banish me from their pack and make me a rouge to get me out of their lives. I have got to say that b***h is smart but she will never get rid of me, I may not make her pay today but one day she will get what is coming to her. I have tried to get close to Lisa but there are two many guards protecting her, I need to think of a different way to get her. I started to think about ways that I could get her and the crown for myself when my wolf started to go crazy,

   ‘Night what the hell is wrong with you?’ I demand off him.

   ‘MATE, MATE, mate is close’ he shouts in my head, giving me a headache, I do not give aa crap about my mate. I want someone who can give me power not someone that I am meant to love, I hope that whoever is my mate does not notice me but when I look up I see a young girl looking at me and the ground that I was near. As soon as our eyes meant I knew that she was my mate, I took a breath in to see if I could smell any power from her blood but I smelt nothing. My wolf was going crazy, wanting me to get close to our make but I did not, I want power. Before she could walk over to me I stand and walk over to her,

   “follow me” I tell her and start to walk away so people cannot hear what I am about to do.

   ‘Don’t you dare reject her, she is our mate she is perfect for us’ Night mind links me, making my eyes roll at him.

   ‘She may be perfect for you but she is not perfect for me, I do not want her and I will reject her and you cannot stop me’ I hiss at him through mind link hoping to shut him up, I start to hear him whimper and it starts to piss me off. I put up a block so that I cannot hear him, I do not need this, I need to come up with a plan and soon.

   “I guess you feel it too” I say without little effort, the girl looks so happy, she does not know what is going to hit her.

  “yes I do, I am so happy to finally find my mate. I have waited a whole year to find my mate” she says in a sweet voice and smiling at me, even though the mate bond is trying to make me smile and fall in love with her, there is no way that I would let it happen. I refuse to smile at her and give her a look that says I do not care, I am just about to reject her when an idea pops into my head. I could use her and her pack to get what I want and let them take the fall for it.

   “I think we should keep it quiet for a while about us being mates” I tell her in a quiet voice, there are some people here that know me and if they found out I had a mate that would make my work ten times harder.

   “Why do you want to keep it a secret? Are you ashamed of me?” she whines at me while looking like she was trying to hold back tears. I know I have to act quickly before she makes a scene by crying,

   “no sweetheart it’s just you deserve the whole day about you when people find out we are mates” I say in the sweetest voice I could muster while trying not to gag at my own words. I can see straight away that my words have worked on her, it will be so easy to make her do what I want.

   “please tell me your name and the name of the pack and I will come in a couple of days and we will let your parents and pack know that we are mates.” I say hoping that I could get away with not telling her were I used to live,

   “I am Ruby and I come from the Moon lake pack, could you tell me your name and pack?” she tells me straight away, I had my announce at the fact that she is not as stupid as she looks.

   “I won’t tell you what pack I come from because I will be moving to yours but I will tell you my name, it’s Henry” I say to her and I am in luck she does not question about my packs name. she goes on about wanting to tell her parents and the Alpha of the pack about us being mates, to just get rid of her I tell her to only tell them people I do not want this to spread too far. She gets so excided that she runs and hugs me before I could stop her, I try not to hug her back but the sparks running through me force me to hug her back. After a few seconds I push her away and tell to go and that I will see her in a couple of days, as she walks away a smile spread across my face as I start to come up with a plan.

(Henry kidnapping Ruby)

I cannot believe that b***h of a mate of mine had got me locked up for not wanting her as a mate, she will pay for this. I sit there trying to think of a way out of this cell, I cannot do what I did last time as there are no guards here that know me and want to help me, stupid pack. Just as I was giving up hope of getting out a flash of life goes off in front of me blinding me, I move away afraid of what is going to happen. After a while, the light starts to fade and I see a woman stood in the middle of the light,

   “who are you?” I ask but the woman just looks around the cell without looking at me, almost like she was looking for something but not finding it. She then placed her hand on the ground, as soon as her hand touches the ground a layer of purple spreads over the floor and up the wall. She does not take her hands off the ground until the whole room was covered,

   “now that no one can hear us we can speak, who I am does not matter. What matters is your mate is about to accept someone else as her mate” the woman informs me.

   “WHAT? HOW COULD THAT b***h DO THAT?”  I shout, when I get my hands on her I am going to make her regret trying to mate with someone else.

   “I can help you get out of here and with your plan against the new King and Queen, I can even give you something that will make your mate do anything you want her to do” she says to me and I could not believe it I will finally get the revenge that I want.

   “I want the crown as well as my revenge, give me that and I will do whatever you want” I say without giving it a second thought. The woman smiles at my words,

   “I was hoping you would say that” she says as she waves her hands. I a flash we are outside in the gardens and I can see my mate waiting for someone, before I could say or do anything the woman made a dart appear and made it fly at Ruby.

   “Go grab her before anyone can see” the woman says as I see Ruby start to fall, I run at her and when I see that she is about to go under I cannot help myself.

   “I have you now, you are going to help me whether you like it or not” I say as I walk her eyes close, I pick her up and run back to the woman. Without saying a word she teleports us to a cabin,

   “lay her on the table, I am going to remove the mate bond for you so that you won’t have your wolf giving you feelings for the girl, by the way this will hurt” she says as she puts her hand on mine and Ruby’s heads. The woman was not lying the pain was almost unbearable and making Night howl in pain but I did not care, I was just happy that I was getting rid of the stupid f*****g mate bond. When the woman removed her hand I dropped to my knees while trying to catch my breath,

   “It is done now you will have to go to the castle in three months’ time” she says.

   “Why? What would I have from doing it then?” I ask unsure of why she wanted me to go at that time and what I was meant to do when I am there.

   “That will be the day the Queen will give birth to a son, both parents will be too tired and that will give you the perfect chance to steal him. First you have to get your mate to drink this, do this when she wakes up that will make her do anything you want her to do. Remember three months’ time you steal the child, go to the Fire Moon pack. Their Alpha will help you and everyone in the pack will hate the boy and treat him life s**t as will you, now I will leave one day I will call on you, on that day you will have to do as I say” she says while looking at me.

   “Do not worry I will do whatever you want, thank you for your help” I say quickly, I am just so happy that I will get the crown one day and in three months I will start my revenge.

   “Ha like you would have a chance to say no” she laughs as she disappears but I did not think to much on it. All I could think about was wanting Ruby to wake up and start making her do what I want when I want.

(Rose’s point of view, back to the present)

   “When I woke in the cabin I was alone with Henry, I kept telling him that we were not mates anymore and that I want to be with Ben. He said I could go if I had one drink with him but it was a trick. As soon as I drank the drink I lost control of my body, it was like someone else was in control, the worst part was I did everything that Henry told me to do without a second thought. I hated hurting that little boy everyday and letting him get hurt by other people, I always loved the royal family and wanted to meet them one day but not like this. I am so sorry for what I did to you all, I know if will be hard believing what I am saying but it is the truth. I just wanted a life with Ben, someone who I thought might of loved me.” Ruby finished saying, at first no one said anything because no one knew what to say, all I could wonder was how would we find out if she is telling the truth.

   ‘Touch her hand Rose’ Midnight mind linked me, I was not sure about this but I did what Midnight said and touched Ruby’s hand. In a second the whole of Ruby’s life flashed in my mind, I saw everything. I felt tears come to my eyes as I saw the heart-breaking things that had happened to her like they were happening to me, I could also hear her thoughts at the time when things were happening. I could hear that she was trying her hardest to stop herself from doing these horrible things.

   “What Ruby has said is the truth she had no choice of what she was doing” I say making everyone look at me,

   “How do you know that?” Lisa asks me,

   “when I touched her, her whole life flashed through my mind” I say making everyone gasp at me.

   “We learn something new about you everyday” Jack says making me smile at him,

   “wait if Ruby is under a spell that Henry gave her then how was she able to not do what he told her in the cell?” Rickie asked which started to make me wonder too, we all looked at Ruby

   “I do not know but my wolf said it had something to do with meeting her sister” she said looking at me.

   ‘Is that true? Midnight’ I ask her through mind link,

   ‘yes it is true, I felt it break as soon as we look at her’ she reply’s to me.

   “Well I think we need to talk about what we should do with Ruby now, Jack, Rose as future King and Queen of the wolve what do you think we should do?” The King asks Jack and I, I look at Jack to see if he has an idea.

   “I think we get in contract with the pack she is from and get her family to come get her and take her home” Jack says,

   “I agree with Jack” I say while grabbing his hand.

   “Then it is settled we will get them to come here tomorrow and take you home, for now one of the guards will take you to your room for the night” Lisa says. Ruby stands and bows to the King and Queen,

   “Thank you” she says as she starts to walk out of the room but when she nears me she stops and turn to face me, before saying anything she hugs me.

   “Thank you for everything you have done for me” she whispers in my ear making me hug her back,

   “I think we should all go to bed” Lisa says. With that Jack grabs my hand and takes me to an empty bedroom,

   “Jack what are you rushing for?” I ask as he closes the door behind me,

   “I want to mate with you, if you will let me” he says to me making my mouth go dry, I had Midnight howling in my head. She was happy with the idea of mating with our mate, Jack started to kiss my neck were his mark was,

   “so what do you say my beautiful mate, will you let me mate you” he asks in between kisses,

   “yes” I whisper and the next thing I know is Jack has pinned me to the wall. I have a feeling that this is going to be one hell of a night, I think to myself as I start to kiss Jack.
