The Hybrid Prophecy

Chapter Eight

(Rose’s point of view)

I know that Jack wanted me to stay away from the fight but Midnight kept going on about seeing our mate and being close to him. She only shout up when I agreed to move closer to our mate, I could feel her excitement when we got closer to our mate. When I got to the top of the hill I quickly looked for him and found him in a matter of seconds, I was so happy when I saw him but that happiness quickly went away when I saw the woman that tried to attack me earlier.

   ‘Why is that b***h hugging our mate? He is ours’ Midnight growled in my head and I completely agreed with her, he is ours no one will take him from us. When Jack did not push the woman away, I lost control of my anger. My body started to shake as I roared louder than anything I had ever heard before, even though I could only feel anger I could also feel a little bit of fear because I did not know what was happening to my body. The shaking started to make my body hurt,

   ‘Midnight what is happening?’ I asked her as the pain brought me to my knees, I started hearing popping sounds as my bones started to brake.

   ‘We are shifting, I am sorry about the pain but it will be over soon’ Midnight reply’s to me and I feel a little comfort that the pain would stop soon. I closed my mind trying to deal with the pain as best as I can,

   ‘it’s ok Rose let me take over, I need to be the one in control when we are in wolf form’ Midnight says and I aloud myself to be pushed to the back of my mind.

(Midnight’s point of view)

I felt Rose go to the back of my mind I finished our shifting I let out a growl letting the woman know that she should not be touching my mate. I started to run at the woman ready to rip her to pieces for touching my mate but Jack got in the way, what the hell is he doing?

   “Rose do not do this, I do not know why she was hugging me but I belong to you. Turn back into your human form and we will find out together, no one will take me away from you” Jack said to me looking me in the eyes. Even though I had not known Jack for long I knew I could trust him, I started to give Rose control and shift back into human form.

(Rose’s point of view)

Midnight gave me control back as we were shifting back into our human form, I could feel everyone’s eyes one me. I knew why people were looking at me, it was the first time that they saw a vampire turn into a wolf. I guess I am no longer just a vampire,

   “I’m sorry, Midnight did not like someone touching her mate” I say shyly as I feel myself starting to blush. Jack was smiling as he walked towards me and pulled me into his arms and kissed the top of my head. I love the feeling I get from being in his arms but it was short lived,

“Jack get your arms off of that bloodsucker” the woman screamed making Jack have to get go of me and turn to face the woman. I glared at the woman for making my mate stop hugging me,

   “do not call my mate a bloodsucker, she has a beautiful name and that is Rose” Jack shouted and I could hear that he was angry. I held on to Jack’s hand hoping to keep him calm,

      “WHAT? THERE IS NO WAY MY SON WILL HAVE A MATE THAT IS A FILTHY BLOODSUCKER” the woman screamed and I was shocked to find out that this person was my mate’s mother. By the look on Jack’s face it seemed like he did not know that this woman was his mother but before I could ask him anything Jack hand suddenly went up to his neck and pulled something out of it. It looked like a dart and I looked around to see if anyone had a gun so I could know who shot my mate but I could not see anyone with a gun, when I turned to look back at Jack he was falling to the floor, I fell to my knees next to him and held him close to me. I looked into his eyes and started to see his eyes close

   “JACK NO” I screamed but his eyes still closed, I hugged his head to me as I started to cry and hear Midnight howl in my head, I could not lose my mate after just finding him.

   ‘Mark him Rose’ Midnight said but I could not understand how that would help him at this point, I do not know what is even wrong with him.

   ‘How would that help him Midnight? We do not even know what is wrong with him’ I reply while starting to lose hope.

   ‘I can feel what he is feeling Rose, he has been poisoned. The poison that he has been given kills werewolves but if we make him like us he will be a vampire as well which will stop the poison and heal him.’ Midnight explains and it starts to give me hope, I move closer to Jack tip his head back so I had better access to his neck.

   “Let go of my son” his so-called mother growled at me but I did not listen to her, I felt a sharp pain as my fangs started to push out. The pain was unusual, when I used to bring my fangs out it would not hurt me but when I brushed my tongue over my fangs they felt sharper than normal. I quickly took my mind off of that and bit down on Jack’s neck, the second my fangs pierced his skin I felt the mate bond grow between us. I could now feel the pain he was in,

   ‘suck some of the poison out of him, it will help him heal but you will become unconscious’ Midnight told me and I did not give it a second thought. I started to suck the poison out of him, if being unconscious saves my mate I will be happy to do it. I stopped when I started to feel weak, I slowly places Jack’s head on the ground and I let myself lay down next to him and within seconds the darkness consumed me.

(Queen Tina’s Point of view)

I could not believe what I was seeing, how could my daughter mark a mutt as her mate, I have to undo this.

   “Go get my daughter quickly and take her to her room” I order two of my guards as I walked towards my daughter. The wolf King and Queen were standing there looking at my daughter and their son laying together in each other’s arms.

   “Take your son and leave my lands before I kill you all for killing my mate and trying to kill our daughter, as you can see we did not kidnap your son. I will not retaliate for the wrongful killing on my husband it every wolf leaves my land in the next ten minutes.” I hiss at them wanting them off of my land sooner then later, without any of them saying a word they picked up the mutt in front of me and walking away. I did not turn my back in case they tried anything, I ready myself when the King of the wolves stopped and turned around.

   “For what it is worth I am sorry for what happened to your mate and I can assure you that neither myself, my mate or by our orders that the attack and murder of your mate was by us. We will start an investigation and find out who did it and bring them to you.” He says to me but I just look at him without saying a word, he turns and continues to walk away with his pack. Once all the wolves have left I turn and walk into the castle,

   “what are we going to do about Rose being mated to that mutt?” Rickie asks me and I look around to make sure that no one can hear what we are talking about, once I was happy that no one was around I started to speak.

   “We are going to look for a way to remove that mark and keep Rose locked up until we do, we are also going to take that mutt out of Rose and I do not care what it takes, I will not have a mutt for a daughter or my daughters mate be a mutt” I say with so much anger in my voice.

   "I do not want to hurt the princess" Rickie says and I try to hid my anger and smile sweetly at him, 

   "we are not going to hurt her, we are going to help her, if we cannot find a way to help her without hurting her we won't do it" I say lying to him. I know he will not help me if he knows that I will do anything to get rid of that mark and mutt from my daughter I will kill my own daughter if I have to I will not let my only child live as an abomination, all I need to do it to get him to find a way for me to get rid of that mark anyway it can and lock him up before he finds out how far I am willing to go.
