The Hybrid Prophecy

Chapter Seven

(Queen Lisa’s point of view)

   “Love you need to stop pacing back and forth” King Lee says to me but I just roll my eyes at him and keep on going. How could he expect me to stay calm when I have just found my pup and he ran away? I kept looking at the clock afraid that every time I did that time would be moving too fast and it was more time without my pup. I heard footsteps and I looked up in excitement but disappointment ran through me faster than anything, it was not the guard I was hoping to see.

   “Your majesty’s the Alpha, Luna, their daughter, Henry and Ruby are locked in different cells. Ruby is the only one to talk, she has said that Henry is the one that came up with the plan and made her go along with it.” The guard says and I could not help but roll my eyes,

   ‘does she not think that we would not remember her calling our pup hers, she is just as guilty as the others’ Star growls in my head and I could not help but agree with her.

   “I do not believe her but we have to wait to deal with them until my son is back and safe with me” I say as I try to keep my eyes off of the door, what do they say? Oh yeah a watched kettle will never bowl. I smell before I feel my mate behind me, as he wraps his arms around me I rested my head on his shoulder hoping to calm down. Just as I closed my eyes I heard the door slam open,

   “your majesty’s I’m sorry we could not catch them, we tried our best but they had back up.” The guards says while running into the room straight towards me,

   “what do you mean?” I scream while not understanding how my best guards lost my pup, the guard just looked at the ground without saying a word.

   “Answer your Queen” my mate roars at the guards making them jump from the power of his voice,

   “we followed the trail of your son but when we got there, we smelled two vampires. We followed the trail and caught up to the vampire and he had your son and another vampire on his shoulders. We would have had him but he jumped into the trees and called for backup, they had too many for us to win and get the prince back I have sent guards to get backup and we are going to storm the vampires castle if it be your wish.” The guard finishes what had happened and I cannot believe my eyes,

   ‘the f*****g vampires had taking our son, me must get our pup NOW’ Star growls in my head and I agree with her.

   “We leave now to get my pup back, ready every guard we have, we move now” I growl as I start to shift into my wolf as I head to the door on my way to get my pup back and I will kill any vampire that gets in my way.

I turn back into my human form to talk to my wolves before we attack, I look at all of them and I could not help but feel pride at everyone ready to fight for my son.

   “We are here to get my prince, he maybe my son but he is everyone’s prince. We will fight together and get him back, I thank everyone that is here that fights with me tonight. I pray the moon goddess blesses us tonight in battle and grants us a win tonight and our prince back with us.” I shout to everyone, all the wolves howl in respond and I know they are with me tonight I turn to face the castle and start to march towards it as everyone behind me follows,

   ‘we will get our pup back no matter what’ Star growls in my head and I nod in agreement as I move closer to the castle. The sight in front of me stops me in my tracks, I could not believe what I was seeing, how was my son holding hands with a bloodsucker? Growls behind me let me know that they did not like what they were seeing as well, the vampire woman looked scared at the sight in front of her and that pleased me

   ‘she should be scared’ I thought and Star growled in agreement, I waited for the little bloodsucker to let go of my son but she only tightened her hand on his which angered me a whole lot more.

      “LET GO OF MY SON YOU FILFTHY BLOODSUCKER” I screamed at her and rip her away from my pup. The bloodsucker looked like she did not know what to do, getting my pup back will be easier than I thought. Before I could reach her I feel someone grab me by the neck and throw me away from the young vampire, as I land in front of my pack I hear the growl at what the vampire that throw me.

   “STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER YOU MURDERING MUTT” the vampire that throw me screams and I see that it is the b***h vampire Queen herself.

   ‘We can finally take her down, once and for all’ Star thinks and I roar signalling my warriors to attack and I shift into my wolf and run with my pack to attack the vampires.

(Jack’s point of view)

I pulled my mate away from the fight not wanting her to get hurt,

   “stay here I am going to try and help… erm I’m sorry but I do not know your name” I say shyly and I see my mate smiling at me.

   “My name is Rose and what it your name mate?” she says and I could not help but laugh,

   “my name is Jack” I say and Rose smiles at me.

   ‘Mate has a beautiful name’ Flare mind links me and I could not help but agree, I give Rose a look that said to stay here while I go try to stop the fight. I ran without looking back because I knew that if I did that I would not be able to leave my mate. When I got to the battlefield I was relieved to find that no one had been killed yet, I knew I had to act fast.

   “STOP” I roared with as much power as I could to make them stop, at the sound of my roar everyone had stopped fighting for a moment. I knew I only had a short time before everyone started to fight,

   “there is no need to fight, the vampires had done nothing wrong I attacked them first and they were only defending themselves and I have found my mate and I will do nothing to hurt her.” I shout for everyone to hear, I watch two golden wolves turn into their human form, as they walked towards me I felt the power radiating off of them and I could not help but wonder who they are.

   ‘Be careful Jack they are the King and Queen of the whole werewolves’ Flare mind links me and I made a mental note of that not wanting to do anything wrong. I stood still as they came closer to me, I thought they would stop but only the man stopped the woman kept walking towards me. I started to get scared of what the woman was going to do, she stopped right in front of me and looked me in the eyes. I got the feeling that I knew this person but I do not know where from before I could do anything she pulled me into a hug.

   ‘Flare why is this person hugging us?’ I ask him, hoping he has the answer.

   ‘I do not know but I get the feeling like this person is family’ Flare reply’s to me but before I could ask the person who they were I heard the most powerful roar ever. It was even stronger than the two wolves in front of me, I turned to see who it was coming from to only see my mate stood on the top of the hill with the most painful look on her face. I pulled away from the woman that was hugging me in hopes that it would calm Rose down but it was already too late and Rose had started to shift into her wolf. Everyone around could not take their eyes off of Rose, she was a vampire there is no way that she should have a wolf but here she is shifting right in front of us all. After a few minutes, the most beautiful was stood where Rose had stood, I just marvelled at the colour of her wolf. I only had a couple of seconds of staring at Rose before Rose started to run at the woman next to me ready to attack, this is not going to end well. I need to stop her before she does something wrong, I stood in front of Rose, stopping her in her tracks.

   “Rose do not do this, I do not know why she was hugging me but I belong to you. Turn back into your human form and we will find out together, no one will take me away from you” I say hoping to calm her down. It seemed to work because Rose started to turn back into her human form,

   “I am sorry, Midnight did not like someone touching her mate” she says acting all shy and I could not help but love her blushing. I walk towards her and pull her into my arms and kiss her head to calm her down.

   “Jack get your arms off of that bloodsucker” the woman screams making me angry, how dare she call my mate a bloodsucker?

   “Do not call my mate a bloodsucker, she has a beautiful name and that is Rose” I shout at the woman not caring if I get into trouble, no one will hurt my mates feelings,

   “WHAT? THERE IS NO WAY MY SON WILL HAVE A MATE THAT IS A FILTHY BLOODSUCKER” the woman screamed and I could not believe what I had just heard. One that I am the son to the King and Queen and two that this woman that is meant to be my mother has just insulted my mate, I felt anger building inside of me but before I could do anything I felt something hit me in the neck. I pulled whatever it was out of my neck and held it in my hand, it looked like a dart. Next thing I knew I was falling to the ground and darkness was closing in,

  “JACK NO” I heard my mate scream before darkness took over completely.
