I was shocked, as I had listened to my father, telling the story about his life and what had happened, that awful day at the Opal pack. That the whole attack on the pack had started, because they were searching for him. And my heart had dropped, as I had heard someone gasp for air, and I looked towards the door, seeing that CJ was standing there, looking as if he was about to have a heart attack.
“Amanda?” He brought out as a question, but I could tell it was more of a statement. I hadn’t even heard him coming back into his office, I was so sucked into my father’s story that I had closed off everything else.
