I opened my eyes again, feeling as if someone was watching me. And sure enough, once I was completely awake, I saw that Matt was sitting in a chair that was positioned against the door, smiling at me, once he saw me staring at him.
“Morning, pea.” He nodded at me, making me smile back at him,
“How long have I been out, babycakes?” I asked him, seeing that he looked at his watch, as a smirk covered his face.
“You slept through the night, it's almost ten. I feel like I’m babysitting a fifteen-year-old pea. Sleeping almost till noon.” I smiled, but my smile faded, as I looked next to me, seeing that CJ was gone, and I was lying in bed, all alone.
