CHAPTER III: TEMPER OF GODS (5) The company foresaw the enemies falling in between them; as nature wonders of oblivion and doom. The woman stayed nervous, but he man kept talking about the promised future. The symphony around the angelical wishes of salvation. “But feel lucky with yourself” he continued. “For you've made some progress. The temper of the brothers is becoming hysterical. And we shouldn´t wait no longer to see it.” “Do you think it´s too late?” exclaims Pasithea. “It´s not,” responds Iram. “But as I said to you, you shall continue on your path after Quivel. We’re very near.” “But how do you know I will make it afterwards?” exclaims the woman. “Do you think I deserve it?” “Ii is not in my will to determine that.” responds Iram. The duality found the prelude to a singular night. The woman's robe was ruined on the way. They found a small tree; between the curtains of use thunder announced the coming of a thundering drizzle. The woman's stomach began to growl, but she did not dare to say anything, for the man was still trying to fix the bushes, for them to spend the night. "Well, I think that will do it all," exclaims Iram. “It is the last of the branches that I had intertwined. That will be enough for the night. " "Okay," Pasithea exclaims, cornering herself. "What happens?" Iram asks. "Nothing, I'm ok." Pasithea exclaims. The man sat up slowly, puzzled and with a lost look. He could decipher the woman's discomfort, so he tried to force his desire to know what was wrong with her. "Are you hungry?" exclaims Iram. "Just a little," Pasithea replies. “But okay I can hold out until tomorrow. The rain is falling. " The man emerged from the makeshift cave with leaves from the nearby cashew; She stepped up behind him, and began to shake the tree into a few peaches that she had seen from a cluster of tall, nearby trees since she'd arrived. He collected them as best he could, amid the mitigating drizzle, got about a dozen of them, and went into the cave with these for the woman. "Here," exclaims Iram. "Half of them can serve you." "Thank you," Pasithea exclaims. "Okay, it's sun–" Iram stopped when he saw that the woman began to cry in a way that weighed on his heart. He did not know what to say, or what to think because the woman seemed to be inundated with her feelings. The man sat next to her, and tried to place her shoulder, until she was on him, and tried to comfort her tears with him. "I'm sorry, it's just" exclaims the woman. “It's just that I can't contain this sadness. I can't believe what is happening. And I can't believe I'm running for my life. " "Sometimes Pasithea is our turn," exclaims Iram. “Life is not something we have, because we do not have life. We are life, and it is our responsibility to know what to do with it and with its inherent pain. " “I think you're going to do it,” exclaims Iram. “Alone, we must get to Quivel, and you will see that it will be easier for everyone. Now, eat something, okay? You must not spend the night without anything. " The man moved away a bit, feeling his emotions vibrate higher. He went out for a moment to look for a set of dry logs; some oaks that he had predicted under a giant trunk. He brought some of this wood, and started making a small fire in the cave; The fire could not emanate much due to the humidity of the bark of the trunk, so the man rubbed his hands, and purple sparks came out of it that helped the fire to link between the heights, while, he saw the beautiful face of the woman, who contemplated the fire thoughtfully, while eating the peaches. "Iram, can I ask you something?" Pasithea exclaims. "Tell me." Iram replies. "Do you have a couple?" Iram chokes on the gulp of water he drank from one of his makeshift oak cups, spilling it and splashing on top of him. The man looked up, and tried to respond as best he could. "May I know why you are interested in that?" "Well, I'm not interested in that," Pasithea exclaims. "I'm only asking you. I mean, you are the prince of the south. You have leadership, honor, and you know how to take care of a woman. It is strange to me that you mentioned everything about yourself, and nothing about love. " "Well, I haven't," exclaims Iram. "I've never had it." "Never?" "Never." Iram responds. “I don't think that's part of my path. My brothers need me. My kingdom needs me. My father needs me, and considering the amount of time it takes to do that, I don't think he has. Besides, I don't think I've ever felt something like that. And I don't think I will, at this point. " "Are you sure that's it?" "Well, what else is it going to be?" exclaims Iram. "Do you have a better theory?" "Yes I do, but I don't think you're going to want to hear it." Pasithea exclaims. "I suppose it can make you feel uncomfortable." "Go ahead," Iram says, swallowing. "I promise you that I won't get mad." "Well, I think it's because perhaps, everything that has happened between Marlina and your father has made you disgust love," exclaims the woman. “Perhaps you close yourself to meet him, seeing that perhaps your mother deserved more than what Arac could ever give her. Do not you believe it?" "Well, maybe," exclaims Iram. “The problem is not that they have fallen in love, they have already gone through their episodes. The problem is that this supposed love does not seem to end. Seriously? After you know what he did? After you saw how he reprimanded your queen? Even she having her king? Are you still going to do it? That is unacceptable. " "What are you talking about, Iram?" exclaims the woman. The man swallowed again. He thought twice about what he was going to say, but felt it was time to reveal the truth about the podium. And I had no idea until that moment, how much h He had been looking forward to confessing it. "If you survive Pasithea, you cannot mention this to anyone." exclaims Iram. "Promise it with your blood." "I promise." Exclaims the woman. "What happens?" "Well, Marlina has spent the last six cycles visiting my father." exclaims Iram. "What?!" Pasithea exclaims. “Marlina betrayed the king with Ar– "Be quiet," Iram exclaims, covering his voice. "The gods may be close." "I mean, I suspected it, but I couldn't believe Marlina was doing that." Pasithea exclaims. “You were there yourself, that night where it was discovered. What the hell did you think that letter said? " exclaims Iram. "What did you think the betrayal was?" "Well, I don't know," Pasithea exclaims. “I thought it was a declaration of war. She believed it was an act against the fortress. I thought Marlina was helping Arac infiltrate the kingdom. I believed that Marlina was deceiving the kingdom, not its king. " “I deceive you both,” exclaims Iram. “My father forced us not to say anything. And we didn't, because those two knew exactly how to make their moves. " "But Iram, that is impossible," Pasithea exclaims. "She was in the kingdom every day." "And where do you think she was at night?" The woman was paralyzed, because she could not believe what the prince was telling her, while she tried to figure out the scenes that were running through her mind. “I- I can't believe this. She slept every night with the king. " Pasithea exclaims. "How did she get away? How did they handle this? "
