CHAPTER III: TEMPER OF GODS (2)
My rage seized me, and as if Elgoneth had commanded it to me, a battle was announced the next day in the prairies of that disorganized city of Devlen. I left the prince of the citadel with his brothers, and believe me God of Air, I went to snatch that town and proclaim revenge as if they were to blame for what was happening; and thus retaliate my anger and my anger, without ending that mortality. Well, to my surprise, those Protestants were now using stone throwers in blue fires. In poisons he had no idea where they got them from. The crystals that we had now given to Devlen had also been stolen, as it seemed to be a cancer of the alliance. Someone was orchestrating everything, and he was doing it without mercy and without disgust.
I decided to abandon the war, seeing King Pipe so depressed by his robberies; He asked me to take a break, and that he would endure the night, but I promised to put an end to that vermin. Well, I was sure that those Protestants were being led by that same vermin who was stealing from me. I took my horse, and I decided to climb the nearby hills to return to the inner chambers of my kingdom. The war would continue the next day, so I returned with just a few of my soldiers, and left some of my best guardians at Pipe Fortress.
And when I got to my royal room, I only found the worst. My son, and two of the secret guardians I assign for days to find out the origin of these thefts. At this point, he was doubting anyone. But how I wish they hadn't told me the truth. I began to develop their theories. And everything connected to a single point: the advice.
"These mountains have a weakness, my lord," exclaimed one of them. “The union between mortals and gods seems to be impossible. Those men may be corrupting those representatives of our council, and it is very likely that, in these crystal transactions and so on, our powers will be lost.
"Then tomorrow morning I'll go to that council and murder everyone!" I exclaimed.
"Father, we don't know if everyone is being part of this plan." Iram exclaimed. "As Sir Richard says, this can be a one-man move."
"Only one?" I exclaimed. "That's impossible. This is a conspiracy! "
"So it seems to be," exclaims Sir Richard. “But sir, these are accountable to you every cycle. We have been and you have been alike, to see your transactions and they all seem to be clean. We cannot ensure that they are all involved, but although it is true there is one who is persuading our guardians, and has created a secret connection with those men from Devlen, taking into account the fact that he has crystals that we have manufactured ourselves, using Against us. We don't know who they are, but before our eyes there is at least one imposter on that council. "
"What will we do father?" exclaimed Iram.
I hit the wooden table with one fist, breaking it with all the force I had at the time. I still couldn't believe what I was facing. My nerves ate me alive, because they provoked me to go at that very moment towards the cavities of that miserable place. I was sorry for my decisions. He did not seem to find order among those damned mortals, which not even their own king approved of. But who was I to criticize it, if my own people had fallen equally and simply could not understand how the poison of their tongues could be spread with such avarice and deceptive disposition among my entire nation.
"I'll tell you what we're going to do," I exclaimed. “Tomorrow morning, we will head towards that battle s**t. We will lay waste to all those treacherous mortals and end that war. Iram and uncle, we'll go to the council later; nightfall, with the excuse of assuring him to eradicate these Protestants in Devlen. And instead of hailing peace, we will announce justice. I don't care how many impostors there are, in my eyes, they are all impostors! They are all the cursed ones! They are all the treacherous ones! They think they will get away with this? They think they can insult me and what we´ve built all these years? We’ll show them what’s the real fury here! They shall be condemned forever, and they will pay as burglars! Each one of them, as they slowly breed beneath their dishonored ribs, until I find the one whom is behind it all! Oh yes my gentlemen! This coward will no longer open his eyes after tomorrow! And I swear by my blood, that i***t will know what the price of justice is! Tomorrow that vermin will be found, and only then will it know the true fury and fury of the southern kingdom! "
And so the next day arrived, full of revenge and bad luck. As soon as the sun rose, my son and I eradicated ourselves with a renewed troop toward the descending meadows of the tainted realm of mortals. Of the murky waters that even they themselves could not appreciate. To my surprise Pipe was not there, as they told me that he had been heavily wounded in battle; trying to recover at the top of his kingdom. With luck in his left hand, and certain death in his right hand. That made me explode with rage even more, and although his mucous catapults of hatred, rancor and poison tried to bring down me and the central side of the kingdom, our might began to dominate the grasslands. Blood began to be spilled as this time the battle was personal. Our blades of effulgence cut their way through all their corrupted wills; for my vision was clear and concise. My powers were focused and treasured. My hunger to meet that traitor was abrupt and accelerated, and although everyone told me that this thief was in the corridors of that irreverent and treacherous council, something told me that this rat was in these treacherous meadows of these disgusting mortals.
