This Christmas Day will be one that I will remember for so many different reasons, both good and bad.
Grandma was excited about a new baby in the house. She did not want me to travel to the formal funeral but said she would respect my wishes. She will be extra clingy, watching what I eat and ensuring I do not overdo it. The wool will come out as she makes baby clothes; she seemed excited about that and would get the lady's group to do some as well.
This also means I would retire from Barrel racing.
I cannot race while expecting, and the baby would take most of my time after it is born; I wouldn't have the time for it and the training involved. The idea of creating barrel racing training sessions was becoming real. It is more than climbing and riding a horse; you must train
