Roxy POV I did it. The walk up those steps to collect my trophy was not that hard; I did not falter once. What seemed impossible a little while ago was a breeze. I stared out at all those who helped me get to where I am and felt an overwhelming urge to cry; I was so grateful that they had pushed me and given me every chance to be where I am today. I could not thank them enough. While I was up there on the stage, I thanked everyone I could think of and sent out my love to them. I walked off with my hands high, and it took a little longer to go down the stairs. For some reason, it is harder to go down than to go up. When I returned to my seat and sat, I took a long, relieving breath. I made it. I accomplished more than I had set as my goal. I could not be happier. Wish Mum had lasted
