My body was hurting all over. My upper jaw, where my marking chemical is made, was hurting so much that it was actually giving me a headache. Vampires never get headaches because we heal anything that can cause it, but this is so painful that it feels like I'm experiencing a migraine. I imagine if I had a live heart my heart would be killing me too right now. The pull of the bond to Cameron has been fading more and more the longer she is gone. I can't imagine how this would feel if I had actually marked her and then lost her. My body is just in so much pain from the broken bond!
