"How is she now?" I asked the moment I spotted Julie in the waiting area, "Has she woken up? Did the doctor say something?" The words started to pour out of my mouth before I could have any control over my tongue. It sounded like I was blubbering, and I wasn't sure if Julie could even understand me.
Cole and Lana watched us with a weird expression on their faces, but I didn't care. Nothing seemed more important to me than the girl who was now in the treatment room.
Julie shook her head, and her eyes were still brimming with tears. "No. Not yet, " She sighed, wiping the corners of her eyes. She looked extremely exhausted, with dark rings starting to appear around her eyes.
