I sighed, in a relieved way.
Seeing the two gentlemen, a distance away from me and Friya, finally shook hands the usual way they usually did it… after a long time it was so comforting that they were back together as friends. I hope so! Their relationship before was more than friendship it was a brotherhood.
I blinked away the mists that had formed around the corners of my eyes, it was not the time for tears. It was a joyful occasion for me.
I allowed myself to breathe, in and out calmly—as in really took the air inside my lungs and released it slowly, gradually. I was so happy at the moment but I didn’t want to express such happiness by crying. I smiled instead, the one that had reached my eyes.
