“I’m so sorry mate. I don’t think I can shoot today,” I heard Miguel nicely decline Steve’s request.
Despite what I told him, Miguel still refused to do the film.
Steve and Miguel moved to a corner a little distance away from me, to talk further. I could hear their voices but I couldn’t understand what they were talking about. It was not hard to figure out though that it was Miguel’s refusal to be the substitute for the actor that was the subject of their serious discussion.
As they spoke Steve looked upset and worried. I figured, he couldn’t delay his appointment with the family and he was concerned about the outcome of the movie.
Miguel was determined not to film. I think he suggested taking over instead as a director. I then overheard Steve’s response: He said
