As the bus left New Orleans Adler pulled Jesse down onto the bed upstairs, curling around her and pressing his chest against her back as he snuffled into the back of her neck. Jesse melted into him, tilting her head to the side to allow him better access and he kissed behind her ear.
They both closed their eyes enjoying the warm of each other as the RV rocked and rolled gently in its movements.
“Baby, I don’t want you to dwell on what’s happening right now, if it’s any consolation to you I would have made this same decision fifteen years ago if I had been stronger. Call me a bad Alpha, but I’ve never really been interested in being Sigma Alpha of the Pack Alliances…so to be honest I’m feeling a little relieved to have that weight lifted from my shoulders.”
