Chapter 8 As soon as he heard the shower water running, Rory shifted the framed photo of Navy’s parents on the desk to make room for his computer. Navy resembled both his parents, but mostly his father. Once he’d plugged in the computer, he saw the outside videos were all working and, as they had during the day, indicated nothing suspicious. He made his first rounds to check the security connections on the windows and doors. They were secure. Like Navy, he lived alone, too, and had thought he preferred it.
