Chapter 49

1909 Words

I guess Joel relaxed me so much that my body was too exhausted to be affected by the uncomfortable bed. I had dreamed of Niall though, and that bothers me. I feel guilty that after everything Joel and I have been through, and after an amazing night with him, my unconscious mind had brought me to Niall, and what is worse, is that my heart aches for him. I had seen Niall roar with anger and fear as he felt our bond sever. He had shifted into his wolf and leaped through a window in the house, the glass shattering and slicing into his skin. He didn't care though. The pain of the cuts was nothing compared to the pain in his heart as he had run through the woods to find me.
