In the morning, Rain makes us a large breakfast spread. She seems in high spirits and, by the way she hums happily as she prepares the food, I think she is enjoying having some company. I can imagine she gets lonely living out here alone. I feel a little stronger after a good night's sleep and once I've eaten the nutritious breakfast she had made, my wolf is still quiet though. After thanking Rain for everything, we leave the safety of her cottage at midday. We have enough supplies to last us a few days, and we have a map to follow with a good place to camp for the night marked by Rain.
