The next few days pass with a mixed bag of emotions as we wait for the results to see if Niall and my dad are good matches to be blood donors for me and Neo. The results from Neo’s tests came back exactly as Val had expected, confirming he does have the blood disorder because of my exposure to the mad wolf virus.
Niall has taken to being a father like a natural. He can now change a nappy like a pro, and he looks after Neo like he’s been doing it from day one, and even better, Neo adores him. I couldn’t ask for better, and that worries me. This all feels too easy.
