I woke up, my head feeling like it was stuffed full of cotton balls to find that I was tied up, my hands behind my back, my mouth completely dry as I noticed that Julian and Ricardo had been restrained with their arms up above their heads, their bodies dangling above the floor. Isabella lay beside me, looking terrified, her breathing shallow, her eyes still closed and I wondered if she was still under the influence of the wolfsbane. Being an omega meant she would be more susceptible to it than I would be or Julian and Ricardo for that matter. There were no signs of the guards and I wondered if they had been killed. I also didn't spot Elena or Liam to my relief and I fervently hoped they had managed to escape through the forest without being caught.
