Nathan's POV:
Carson gave me a long stare, that same look he gave me when I told him the Miller kid would be staying with Katie and I.
"You're okay with leaving them up there alone?" He asked eyeing the stairs in curiosity.
Truth is, she can't be in better hands.
I've seen how much that kid loves my daughter, I've known for years. Anytime I forgot something for her, I told her no or I had her wait till Christmas, it'd show up on my front door step or in the hands of that kid.
He always made sure she had everything she wanted. That's my job, of course sometimes I say no but not to be cheap. I just like my kids not being spoiled.
I needed them to know that we work for things in this house.
