I can't believe we actually made it.

Fighting back the huge smile that wanted to stretch over my face entirely, I held my head tall with my hands behind my back in uniform.
It's been hard as hell but Ace and I did it, we finally graduated and we'll be the greatest cops this town has ever seen!
As I was pinned, I broke a small smile and then watched Ace's strict face, his stare forward and he took this very serious. I was proud of how far he's come. Watching him get pinned was the proudest moment I've ever had.
He did it.
He proved them all wrong, and I can not wait to strip that uniform off him tonight.
Damn does he look good in uniform.
