Hope's POV
Last night Xavier just left out of the blue. I know he told me not to wait up for him, but I couldn't sleep not knowing where he was. We have been sleeping in the same bed since we got married. The bed felt lonely and cold. I couldn't sleep. I waited for him to come home.
He didn't give me any explanations as to where he was going. I don't know what happened, but he was not himself when he left. It was like something scared him. This left me wondering what could scare a man like Xavier. He came back just after midnight. I pretended to be asleep.
When he went to bed, he struggled to sleep. He kept on tossing and turning the whole night. When I woke up, he was not there. I had to deal with AJ asking me questions I couldn't answer. I tried to call him but that was also unsucce
