Hope's POV
Tonight might just be the best night of my life. Seeing Xavier talking to people, and seeing him laughing makes it all worth it. I hated that he was away, and I was wondering if my husband would ever come home to me and now that he is back, I can't take my eyes off him.
He made his speech, and we made our way to the table. I was worried that we would have to take an extra chair at the table and, surprisingly enough, Grant was not at the table. I looked around, and I couldn't see where he had disappeared. Xavier pulled a chair for me and I sat down.
"Mother," Xavier said to Marla and kissed her on the cheeks.
