Hope's POV
" Hope, they are ready for you," Dustin said to me as he walked into my office.
He was talking about the board of directors. They called for an emergency meeting. Xavier couldn't have left at the worst time. I have never been to a board meeting before and I don't know what to expect. I went from junior editor to editor-in-chief.
Xavier threw me into the deep end and, right now, I can either swim or sink. I have not met even one person from the board and now I am supposed to address a room full of strangers. I took a deep breath and stood up from my chair.
" Dustin, I need you to give me a quick rundown of what you expect. You worked with the previous Chief editor, right?" I said to him.
