" What was that about?" Kim asked me after the jewelry designer left the table.
I made an appointment with the man because I wanted him to fix the tiara my mother-in-law borrowed me to wear for the surprise party I am putting together for Xavier. That was not the only reason I asked him to meet up with me.
I have asked Cartier to design a custom-made crown for Xavier. What I didn't expect was for him to show up like he did just moments after he asked me out for lunch. I didn't tell him about the meeting with the designer because I did not want to ruin the surprise.
