Arthur scowled as he left his condo. It had been over a month since Eleanor disappeared and still no word of her whereabouts had been received. After several trips to her family, it was clear they had no idea where she had gone or why. They assured him they would contact him the moment they had news, but he doubted they would receive anything. It was obvious now she harbored no love or trust in her family. Eleanor probably knew they would call him the moment she contacted them. He gratefully gave up that route as dinners with her family were irritating, particularly the obvious amorous advances of her sister.
