“So, this is it?” Agent Cole asked as she and her partner pulled up along the curb and cased the compound.
A high, chain-link fence surrounded the grounds occupied by several buildings. A new layer of snow covered the ground despite the fact last week was the first day of spring. Yet, the road leading in was freshly plowed and everything looked well-maintained.
“Mhmm,” Agent Kersting nodded.
